Press release Tintinimaginatio / Microids / Pendulo Studios
Dear gamers and Tintin fans,
The work of a 15-year-old reporter, just like that of a video game developer, is
sometimes subject to time constraints: sometimes one of his articles is not fully
finalised and corrected just as the deadline for the newspaper is approaching, and
the printer's presses are ready to run.
In the same way, the closing date for our video game did not allow us to correct all
the remaining syntax errors, bugs and typos. The time had come to print the
newspaper, or rather, to launch the game.
We apologise for the inconvenience and ask players to understand the challenge of creating a game of this scale.
Our aim is to introduce youngsters to the world of Tintin through this most modern
medium. That's why we've opted for simple, tried and tested gameplays that are
accessible and user-friendly, while respecting the spirit of the original story.
Tintin's popularity has grown steadily since his creation, gaining notoriety first
through the press and books, then on television with the animated series, and
finally at the cinema. These adaptations perpetuate the adventure and aim to reach new audiences. Video games make an active contribution to this dynamic.
It is often preferable to adopt a more 'traditional' approach to gameplay to
facilitate progression and make the game accessible to everyone. This includes
using well-established game mechanisms and aids to guide players. This consistent
approach aims to make the game accessible, enjoyable and tailored to our target
audience.
We have done everything we can to ensure that the game experience is the best it
can be. We're confident that, after a few temporary problems, our game will find a
place in your hearts and captivate adventurers of all ages, from 7 to 77.
We invite you to check our website regularly for the latest updates and patches
available for download.
Yours faithfull
